Sprague seeks a Billing Associate to accurately manage and invoice customer accounts in Portsmouth, NH, coordinating with operations, sales and counterparty staff to ensure timely, precise billing.

The role emphasizes data entry, verification, issue resolution, monthly reconciliation, and reporting with occasional overtime. A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting/Business plus strong analytical and communication skills are required.

• Bachelor’s degree to include an Associate's in Accounting/Business or similar field.
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude.
• Advanced computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to relate to customers, outside contacts and our associates.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Invoice Generation: Preparing and generating accurate and timely invoices based upon contracts, volumetric information and utility/carrier parameters.
• Data Entry: Entering billing and payment information into the accounting or billing system with a high level of accuracy.
• Billing Verification: Reviewing invoices for correctness, completeness, and adherence to company policies and contractual agreements.
• Billing Issue Resolution: Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies, disputes, and billing-related problems promptly.
• Monthly Reconciliation: Performing monthly billing reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately reflected.
• Reporting: Preparing and generating periodic billing reports for management and other departments as required.
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.
