Job summary

Cox Fleet in Cherryville, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist II to join our Accounting team. You will ensure accurate billing processes, audit invoices, and communicate with service providers and colleagues to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities include VMRS coding and costing, responding to PO inquiries, indexing invoices, processing rebills, and marking invoices as Work & Cost Complete, with opportunities to take on additional duties within Billing.

• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events within the system.
• Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Undertake additional duties as assigned within the Billing department.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience; or the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; or 5 years’ experience in a related field
• Experience in the automotive industry or fleet management a plus.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with operating computers and office equipment for data entry, faxing, emailing, and document copying.
• Experience with VMRS coding and billing is a plus.
