Guardian Pharmacy, LLC in Gainesville, Virginia is seeking a Billing Specialist I to join our on-site team. You will handle patient billing, insurance claims, and related open enrollment tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA and payer requirements.

The role requires strong attention to detail, reliable communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Open schedule with a rotating weekend shift is expected.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration per state requirements; National Certification preferred (PTCB) may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Process customer bills and insurance claims accurately and timely.
• Assist with daily and month-end billing procedures and reporting.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, caregivers, providers, and insurers.
• Research patient eligibility and reverify benefit coverage as needed.
• Enter patient and insurance information into billing and pharmacy systems.
