Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; state license/certification as a Pharmacy Technician per requirements.
• 1+ years of related experience; strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Pharmacy software experience and HIPAA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process patient bills and insurance claims accurately and timely.
• Enter and update patient/insurance information in billing systems.
• Provide timely responses to billing inquiries via phone or electronic communications.
• Research and resolve billing issues including eligibility and coverage.
• Assist with daily and month-end billing procedures and reporting.
