Columbus Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery (CAPS) is seeking a Billing Specialist for our Columbus, OH practice. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering cosmetic and medical services with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

The role requires at least 2 years of medical billing/AR experience, knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT, and proficiency in Excel. Experience with Nextech is strongly preferred. We offer growth opportunities and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in accounts receivable or medical billing in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding; familiarity with billing practices.

Responsibilities

• Submit and process medical insurance claims promptly and accurately.
• Review claims for accuracy and correct billing errors.
• Follow up on unpaid, denied, and rejected claims.
• Post insurance payments and adjustments; reconcile daily
• Maintain patient and insurance data; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Bill insurance and cosmetic surgeries daily; perform daily reconciliations.
