THF CPAs in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Billing Assistant for an in-person, full-time role. The candidate should have at least two years of progressive billing or accounting experience, preferably in a professional services environment, with strong Excel/Word/Adobe/Outlook skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Two years of progressive billing or accounting experience, preferably in professional services.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook.
• Experience with time-and-billing software.
• Strong attention to detail and communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and issue client invoices across multiple service lines per firm/client specs.
• Review time and billing reports (WIP) for accuracy and correct rate codes.
• Respond to internal and external billing inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Assist with tracking accounts receivable and aging/collections reports.
• Follow up with clients on outstanding invoices and assist in collections.
• Support month-end close processes related to billing and A/R.
• Collaborate with team to identify and support process improvements.
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation per firm standards.
