Job summary

Siegfried is seeking a Billing Specialist reporting to the Revenue Manager – Billing. The role ensures invoices are created in Workday accurately and sent on time to support cash flow and client service.

You will work with Contracts, Business Units, and clients to resolve billing issues and drive process improvements. We value analytical thinkers who leverage Excel and BI tools to deliver reliable billing data, with a focus on continuous improvement and Five Star Client Service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and automation and applying them to improve processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve and identify improvements.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Review SOW documents to ensure billing information is accurate.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Business Units, and other billing analysts to generate and distribute fee and expense invoices bi-weekly and monthly.
• Ensure retainer, fixed-fee, and other invoices are sent timely with proper approvals.
• Respond to internal/external client requests, inquiries, accrual and PO updates as needed.
• Lead monthly meetings with the Business Development Team to confirm rates and resolve invoice issues.
• Recommend system/process improvements for invoicing and time/expense entry.
• Review and follow up on missing time entries from resources.
• Update and streamline reporting processes for the Billing Team.
• Assist with reporting and analysis of billing metrics and trends.
• Support Special Projects as required.
