Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Location: Washington, DC

Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in-office minimum (eligible for remote work after 90 days)

Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000 (Based off years of experience)

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Hours: 35-hour work week (with potential for overtime)

Our client is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our highly respected and collaborative billing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and self-driven professional to support a group of dedicated, hands-on Partners in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position Highlights

• Serve as the billing liaison for assigned attorneys and clients.
• Manage full-cycle billing including preparation, edits, and submission through e-billing systems.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Partner with the Finance team to resolve billing-related questions and ensure compliance.
• Provide detailed and accurate reporting as needed.

Work Schedule & Overtime

• Typical hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, especially during training and onboarding.
• Once assigned permanent billing portfolios, you may see approximately 5 hours of overtime per week.
• Additional hours may be needed during month-end and year-end billing cycles.
• The firm is committed to balancing workloads and minimizing excessive overtime.

Workplace Flexibility

• All positions are full-time and require a minimum of three days in the office per week.
• After 90 days, eligible employees may work remotely up to two days per week.
• Regular, reliable attendance is essential, along with flexibility to accommodate the needs of attorneys and the firm.
