Responsibilities

• Responsible for the billing processes for several clients and billing attorneys, including pre-bill distribution, review and editing of pre-bills, finalizing and submitting invoices, follow-up with attorneys regarding unbilled time and expenses.
• Research missing or additional data required by the client for bills.
• Adherence to specific client billing guidelines.
• Daily communication with attorneys, administrative staff and clients.
• Assist others in the department when needed.

We currently have an open position in our Finance Department for the position of Billing Specialist located in our Hartford, CT office. A hybrid work schedule is available. Duties to initially include:

• Responsible for the billing processes for several clients and billing attorneys, including:
• Pre-bill distribution, review and editing of pre-bills, finalizing and submitting invoices, follow-up with attorneys regarding unbilled time and expenses.
