Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our Billing team in Somerville, MA. You will create and review client invoices, ensure timely billing, and coordinate with sales, account management, and service teams to align pricing with contracts.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales and service teams to set up accurate billing (POs, invoice frequency, pricing).
• Coordinate with account management to secure and manage client POs.
• Collaborate with Technical Services to identify items for pricing.
• Create and review client invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness per contracts.
• Maintain working knowledge of customer price schedules.
• Develop pricing for new services based on sales strategy.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and issues with cross-functional teams.
• Support New England Technical Services with filing and phone duties.

Job description

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Billing Specialist for our Billing team.

This position reports to the Corporate Manager of Billing . This role is onsite and is based in our Somerville, MA, office.

Respo nsibilities:

• Work closely with sales and service teams to ensure accuratebillingsetup (client purchase
  orders, invoice frequency, pricing, etc.)
  • Work with account management to secure and manage client purchase orders
  • Working with Technical Services to identify new items to create pricing
• Create and review client invoices, ensuring accurate and timelybillingto customers in
  accordance with contract terms and company policies.
• Have a working knowledge of customer price schedules
• Work with account management and project administration teams to develop pricing for new services, goods and wastes based on sales strategy
• Coordinate with other roles/departments to resolvebillingdiscrepancies, disputes, and issues in a timely manner.
• Work with New England Technical Services team to assist in filing, copying, scanning and answering the phone.

Basic Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Detail oriented and accurate
• Problem-solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
  
• Must have a reliable form of transportation

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior relevant industry experience
• Prior successful experience in a customer service role
• Associate's degree preferred
• Minimum 1 years of experience inbilling, customer facing and/or finance related field
