Job summary

Acquisition NexGen in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking an Advanced Billing Associate with a government contracting background to ensure accurate invoicing, strict compliance, and audit-ready documentation.

The role covers FFP, T&M and commercial invoicing; requires advanced Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables and data analysis; familiarity with FAR/DFARS/DCAA/DCMA/CAS and/or SOX helpful; experience with Oracle or Hyperion Essbase to support billing systems and close the books.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in government billing or accounting operations.
• Experience with FAR, DFARS, DCAA, DCMA, CAS and/or SOX is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.

Are you an experienced Billing or Accounting professional with a background in government contracting?

We're recruiting for an Advanced Billing Associate and looking for someone who understands the importance of accurate invoicing, compliance, audit-ready documentation, and keeping the billing cycle moving.

This opportunity could be a strong fit if you have experience with:

• FFP, T&M, and commercial invoicing
• Advanced Microsoft Excel – formulas, pivot tables & data analysis
• FAR, DFARS, DCAA, DCMA, CAS and/or SOX
• Oracle, Hyperion Essbase, or similar financial systems
• Billing audits and audit-ready documentation

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
