Toppan Merrill is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our Sartell, MN team. You will prepare accurate client invoices, analyze billing data, validate pricing, and collaborate across departments to ensure financial accuracy and excellent service.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, applying pricing grids, auditing invoices, and supporting month-end activities. Onsite schedule, with standard business hours and occasional required on the 2nd Wednesday monthly.

Competenze

• Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles including debits, credits, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Respond professionally and timely to billing inquiries while maintaining a strong customer service focus.

Toppan Merrill has an exciting opportunity for a Billing Specialist to join our Sartell, MN team. You will support the Fulfillment business by preparing accurate and timely client invoices, analyzing billing data, validating pricing, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional service and financial accuracy. The Billing Specialist manages assigned client accounts, works with pricing agreements and contracts, and supports month-end and ongoing billing activities.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (with a 60 minute lunch) OR 8:30am – 5:00pm (with a 30 minute lunch) Onsite Required 2nd Wednesday of every month to our Sartell, MN facility

Job Responsibilities

• Proof and audit invoices for quality control, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all billing transactions

• Process monthly summary invoices and maintain assigned client billing accounts
• Collaborate with Client Services, Production Services, Accounting, and other internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and obtain invoice approvals

About You

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of billing, invoicing, accounting, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles including debits, credits, invoicing, and revenue recognition
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research, identify, and resolve discrepancies
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with multiple departments
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel; experience with Oracle or ERP systems is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to changing business needs

Compensation

We understand that your skills deserve recognition. That's why we offer a competitive hourly pay range of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience and expertise. We believe in compensating our dedicated team members fairly for their hard work and commitment. Please note that actual compensation may vary within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
