CFS is seeking a detail-oriented billing professional to own the project billing lifecycle within a well-established engineering and infrastructure organization in the United States. Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting is preferred.
  • 5+ years of billing or project accounting experience.
  • Experience with project-based or construction billing environments.
  • Understanding of construction, engineering, infrastructure, or professional services workflows.
  • Experience reviewing contracts, amendments, and change orders for billing accuracy.
  • Familiarity with high-volume billing in shared services environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Manage the full project billing lifecycle from project setup through invoicing, revisions, and final billing.
  • Review contracts, change orders, proposals, and supporting documentation for billing accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare, process, and distribute invoices across multiple formats and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and clients to resolve billing questions and documentation issues.
  • Maintain accurate billing records, project files, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor project billing activity and support timely revenue conversion.
  • Assist with process improvements that enhance billing efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.
  • Provide reporting and billing support for project and finance leadership.

  • Participate in billing reviews and ensure all invoicing deadlines are metMonitor project billing activity and support the timely conversion of project work into revenue
  • Assist with process improvements that enhance billing efficiency, accuracy, and customer service
  • Provide reporting and billing support as needed for project and finance leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered
  • 5+ years of billing, project accounting, or related accounting experience
  • Experience with project-based billing, contract billing, or construction billing environments
  • Understanding of construction, engineering, infrastructure, or professional services project workflows
  • Experience reviewing contracts, amendments, and change orders for billing accuracy
  • Familiarity with shared services environments and high-volume billing operations
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
