Now Hiring: Billing Specialist (Remote – Nevada Residents Only)

We’re looking for a Billing Specialist who thrives on accuracy, loves solving problems, and enjoys working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. While this role is fully remote, candidates must reside in the state of Nevada. Unfortunately, applicants outside Nevada will not be considered.

As a Billing Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity, timeliness, and accuracy of our billing operations. You’ll interact with systems such as Salesforce, Workday, and third-party billing portals to ensure our customers receive clear, correct invoices—and top-tier service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate, audit, and issue customer invoices using Salesforce, Workday, and other billing systems.
• Create and process manual invoices when automation doesn’t apply.
• Audit billing data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with purchase orders and contract terms.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies—usage, rates, system errors, and more.
• Manage and update customer purchase orders and billing-related requests in Salesforce and other tools.
• Ensure billing accuracy by comparing monthly usage data with Salesforce records.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Collections) to clarify and improve invoicing.
• Maintain accurate records and support audit and reporting efforts.
• Document and monitor billing adjustments, credits, and escalations.
• Recommend improvements for greater billing efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 4-5+ years in billing or finance operations, ideally within a SaaS or technology company.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Workday; familiarity with systems like NetSuite or PeopleSoft is a plus.
• Excellent Excel skills for data validation and comparison.
• Attention to detail with the ability to independently manage tasks and priorities.
• Clear and professional communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Proven experience resolving complex billing issues and auditing invoices.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a high-paced, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of tax, billing compliance, and PO/invoice matching is a plus.
