Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking an Accounts Receivable / Billing Clerk in Indiana. You will maintain customer accounts, handle invoicing and adjustments, and support month-end/quarter-end processes while coordinating with multiple departments.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely responses, and strong communication in a fast-paced finance environment. Candidates should have accounting/finance education and AR experience.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing, credits, debits and other customer account maintenance.

• Preparing data for month-end and quarter-end close.
• Reconciliations of customer accounts.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Invoicing, credits, debits, etc. (customer account maintenance)
• Proactively communicating to various departments on problem accounts
• Working with the Collections Department to resolve customer billing issues.
• Providing timely responses to customer and employee requests for information
• Preparing information required for the month-end, and quarter-end
• Account reconciliation

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, or relevant experience

COMPENSATION DETAILS

The potential hourly pay rate is $19 to $21, with eligibility for bonus or merit program. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
