Job summary

Air Comfort in Downers Grove, IL is looking for a Service Billing Coordinator to ensure seamless billing operations in a fast-paced environment. You will manage invoices, review work orders for accuracy, and partner with customers to address their billing needs. The role requires 3+ years of HVAC or plumbing experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Qualifications

• Strong understanding of work orders and industry terminology.

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage invoices (quoted and time & material).
• Review work orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with customers and Sales Engineers on billing needs.
• Work across multiple customer portals and systems.
• Communicate with technicians and customers daily.
• Support A/R activities including tracking invoices.
• Help maintain efficient workflows and billing accuracy.

What You’ll Do

• Process and manage invoices (quoted and time & material)
• Review work orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
• Partner with customers and Sales Engineers on customized billing needs
• Work across multiple customer portals and systems
• Communicate with technicians, internal teams, and customers daily
• Support A/R activities including tracking and follow-up on invoices
• Help maintain efficient workflows and billing accuracy across operations

What You Bring

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $60,000 – $80,000
