Renova One is seeking a Billing Specialist to ensure timely, accurate invoicing, cash application, and collections support across our projects. You will prepare invoices, verify data, resolve discrepancies, and apply payments using ACH, checks, wires, or cards.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in invoicing or AR, exceptional attention to detail, and strong communication. Knowledge of QFloors and Job Runner/Pilot is preferred.

Formación

JOB SUMMARY

The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate customer invoicing, cash application, collections support, and accounts receivable activities. This role is critical to helping Renova One meet service line expectations by responding to customer inquiries and invoicing customers. The ideal candidate brings experience in billing, invoicing, cash applications, collections, and customer account management, while maintaining a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, and customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on time
• Review billing data for completeness, accuracy, and proper approvals
• Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to internal and customer inquiries
• Ensure billing aligns with contracts, pricing, and project/job details
• Apply customer payments (ACH, check, wire, credit card) to the correct accounts
• Reconcile customer accounts and research payment variances or short pays
• Assist with AR aging reviews and follow up on open or unapplied items
• Support month-end close activities related to billing and cash receipts
• Learn and assist with AP processing, including invoice entry and coding
• Support vendor reconciliations and help resolve invoice discrepancies
• Assist with AP workflows as part of cross-training and development
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Support audits, reporting, and internal controls as needed
• Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to improve processes
• Process customer invoices within established service-level expectations
• Respond to customer billing inquiries within 24-48 hours
• Perform cash application activities and maintain accurate AR records
• Support collection efforts and customer account follow-up
• Partner with operations teams to ensure billing information is complete and accurate
• Maintain service-line standards for responsiveness and invoice turnaround times
• Utilize QFloors and Job Runner/Pilot systems for billing and invoicing activities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, cash applications, or collections
• Experience managing customer account inquiries and issue resolution
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting billing deadlines
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with accounting or billing software preferred
• Experience with QFloors and/or Job Runner/Pilot is preferred
