• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office Products.

Responsibilities

• Issue invoices to customers (paper, email, web portal and/ or EDI).
• Work with operations staff to obtain all required delivery documentation.
• Confirm entered data from customer requirements documentation.
• Organize and categorize billing documents.
• Respond to customer and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
• Update the customer master file with contact information; work with AR to research short paid invoices.
• Promote Hermann Services to employees and customers.
• Perform other A/R and administrative duties as assigned.

Position Description: The Freight Billing Analyst is accountable for creating invoices, issuing them to customers by various electronic means, and updating customer files.

Responsibilities:

• Issue invoices to customers (paper, email, web portal and/ or EDI)
• Work with operations staff to obtain all required delivery documentation
• Confirm entered data from customer requirements documentation
• Organize and categorize billing documents
• Respond to customer and employee inquiries in a timely manner
• Update the customer master file with contact informationWork with Accounts Receivable Specialist to research any short paid invoices
• Positively promotes Hermann Services to existing and potential employees and customers
• Perform other A/R and administrative duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Other Duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be detail oriented

• A minimum of 2 years experience
• Previous background knowledge of trucking industry a plus
• Knowledge of Seafreight/Drayage invoicing a plus
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office Products
• TMW, Mcleod and Great Plains experience preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills
