Job summary

CareDx, Inc. is seeking a Billing Accounting Specialist to apply payments, denials, and correspondence to patient accounts within the revenue cycle management system. You will reconcile remittances to bank receipts and ensure accurate posting of denial reasons while handling PHI under HIPAA.

This full-time role in a fast-paced environment may require occasional overtime, and on-site collaboration for the Brisbane, California office, with remote options for eligible US-based candidates.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months' experience in data entry or medical billing.
• Typing speed of at least 50 WPM and strong communication skills.
• Understanding of PHI handling and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Post payments, denials and correspondence to patient accounts in the RCM system.
• Reconcile remittances and EOBs to bank receipts and apply to accounts.
• Ensure denial reasons are accurately posted from paper correspondence.
• Assist supervisor and RCM teammates as needed.
• Monitor mail processes and prepare outgoing mail and refunds.
