Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five+ years of related billing, accounts receivable, collections, or claims experience; advanced degree may substitute.
• At least three years in a high-volume claims processing environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification may be required; PTCB certification preferred for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise billing, accounts receivable, and collections activities to ensure accuracy, timely completion, and high customer service levels.
• Manage team productivity and performance against established metrics, including production volume and error rates.
• Hire, train, schedule, coach, evaluate, and develop team members; address performance issues as needed.
• Ensure all claims are adjudicated and billing batches are completed and posted accurately and on time.
• Monitor prior authorization and rejection queues and resolve outstanding items promptly.
• Lead month-end close activities, including statement preparation and account analysis.
• Handle escalated billing issues and collaborate with other departments to improve workflows.
• Lead the development and maintenance of training materials, policies, and procedures for billing functions.
