Octave is seeking a Billing Specialist in the United States (Seattle area) to join the Revenue Cycle team. You will handle billing inquiries, generate invoices, verify eligibility, post payments, and collaborate with health plans to resolve issues across time zones.

The role emphasizes empathetic client interaction and accurate data handling. Candidates should have healthcare admin experience, familiarity with Zendesk or live chat, and comfort using AI tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare administration (front office, billing or claims).
Experience with patient-facing communication tools such as Zendesk, live chat or phone support.
Proficiency with Google Suite;MacBook work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide clear, warm communication with clients, clinicians, and colleagues.
Perform eligibility checks, generate invoices/superbills, post payments daily, and file insurance claims.
Respond to billing inquiries and resolve issues across multiple software systems.
Adhere to SOPs, ensure complete and accurate information, and drive quality.
Post payments, reconcile accounts, and address discrepancies promptly.
Identify process improvements and leverage AI tools to boost efficiency.
