Job summary

Essen Health Care is seeking a Billing Manager to lead the organization’s billing and revenue cycle operations. You will drive charge capture, claims management, payment posting, and reconciliation while ensuring regulatory compliance and financial control.

Lead a high-performing billing team, establish standards, and partner with Finance, Operations, IT, and clinical leadership to optimize processes and automate workflows. This role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and revenue integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a related field; healthcare admin preferred.
• 5+ years of medical billing and revenue cycle management.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all billing department activities and staff.
• Ensure charges entered and submitted timely.
• Monitor claim status, denials, and holds.
• Oversee payment postings and reconciliation.
• Lead system optimization with eCW and automation.
• Develop SOPs and ensure regulatory compliance.
