Job summary

NYU Langone Florida is seeking a Billing Representative II to perform intermediate billing and financial clearance tasks, including claims submission, AR follow-up, authorizations, precertifications and patient estimates.

You will work with providers and staff to resolve billing questions, escalate issues as needed, and participate in ongoing training to ensure accurate and timely revenue cycles across scheduled services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years in medical billing or related duties.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10; experience with medical billing software.
• Strong communication, math, and keyboarding skills; typing 35 wpm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Submit claims and manage accounts receivable and authorizations.
• Identify billing issues and assist with denial management.
• Assist in patient estimates and financial clearance for services.
