• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the provider billing and reimbursement team to ensure accurate and timely claim submissions.
• Develop strategies to optimize reimbursement rates and reduce denials by analyzing payer contracts and trends.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to resolve billing issues and regulatory concerns.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure billing practices comply with federal, state, and payer guidelines.
• Prepare and present reports on billing performance and improvement initiatives to senior leadership.
• Mentor and evaluate team members to maintain accuracy and productivity.
• Lead efforts to streamline workflows and integrate new technologies to enhance efficiency.
