Job summary

Flagler Health is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Leader to run care management billing hands-on today and build a scalable function as the business grows. You will lead a small team of billers, own collections performance across partner practices, and serve as the go-to expert on RTM, CCM, and PCM coding, billing, and payments.

You will supervise billing operations, reconciliations, and denials resolution, ensuring timely entry across EHR/PM systems while advocating process improvements

Qualifications

• 5+ years revenue cycle experience in physician practice or ambulatory billing.
• 2+ years leading or supervising billers or denials team.
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines, especially RTM/CCM/PCM.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial payers and direct payer interactions.
• Experience across multiple EHR and practice management systems.
• Strong spreadsheet skills (pivot tables, lookups) for claim-level analysis.
• Clear written communication; ability to write SOPs and present findings to clients/leadership.

Responsibilities

• Owns charge and payment reconciliation across new partner practices and establishes clean baselines for collections.
• Runs monthly claim-level payment analysis and flags unpaid/underpaid/denied/adjusted claims.
• Leads payer follow-up and denial resolution with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversees claim entry and corrections across multiple EHR/PM systems.
• Manages billers and contractors; assigns workload and tracks throughput against deadlines.
• Holds regular denials and billing meetings; standardizes documentation and conducts one-on-ones.
• Produces monthly productivity reporting and conducts audits to close gaps.
• Reviews claims for coding compliance with ICD-10-CM and CPT rules; creates coding references.
