Job summary

Independent Living Systems (ILS) seeks a Manager, Billing & Reimbursement to lead our provider billing team in Miami, FL. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of healthcare billing experience with at least 2 years in supervision, and knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding and payer rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of healthcare provider billing and reimbursement experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, CPT/HCPCS coding, and payer reimbursement methodologies.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirements.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software.
• Relevant experience may substitute for educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare provider billing and reimbursement, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, CPT/HCPCS coding, and payer reimbursement methodologies.

• Demonstrated success in leading process improvement projects within a healthcare revenue cycle environment.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data analytics tools to drive decision-making.
