Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; associate degree in accounting preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Dependable, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and support a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare and distribute bills, checks, and financial statements as needed.
• Organize and maintain financial files and documents.
• Assist with audits and budget data preparation.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on discrepancies.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support to the finance team.
