Job summary

Anderson Trucking Service is seeking a detail-driven Billing and Pay Specialist for an on-site role in Jacksonville, FL. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate customer invoices and timely carrier settlements, while resolving unbilled loads and handling settlements with precision.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in billing or related fields, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
At least 1 year of experience in billing, accounting, collections, settlements, or a related field
Working knowledge of billing, accounts payable, and administrative processes
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
A self-motivated, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently
Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
High standards of confidentiality and professionalism
A positive, team-first mindset and flexibility to support various projects

Responsibilities

Work closely with internal teams to understand customer billing requirements and ensure invoices meet quality standards
Process customer invoices promptly after loads are delivered
Investigate and resolve unbilled loads
Process carrier settlements to keep payments timely and relationships strong
Handle billing and settlement corrections with accuracy and care
Run reports and post invoices daily and monthly
Jump in on other projects as needed
