Job summary

UKG is seeking a Billing Inquiry Analyst to serve as a primary liaison between customers and internal teams, handling billing inquiries, disputes, escalations, and exceptions while protecting revenue and delivering a positive customer experience.

You will work with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Revenue Operations, Service Operations, Product, and Engineering to resolve complex issues, develop expertise in monetization models, and leverage AI-driven tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with billing operations, invoicing, contract interpretation, and dispute resolution.
• Ability to analyze complex billing issues across multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn AI-enabled technologies and incorporate AI tools into daily workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary billing contact for inquiries, disputes, escalations, and exceptions.
• Act as billing liaison for strategic customers, ensuring a high-quality experience.
• Investigate and resolve medium-to-high-complexity billing issues with accurate resolutions.
• Develop expertise in billing processes, contract terms, pricing structures, and monetization models.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Revenue Operations, Service Operations, Product, and Engineering.
• Escalate systemic issues and identify opportunities for process improvements.
