Ely-Bloomenson Community Hospital is hiring a Billing Operations Team Leader to direct our Business Office from a fully remote role within Minnesota. You will oversee billing, reimbursement, AR, and compliance while guiding a team of billing professionals in a patient-focused healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in finance or related field and 3–5 years in hospital billing with 2–4 years of leadership.

• Associate degree in finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of Critical Access Hospital billing experience.
• 2–4 years of leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare billing.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medical Assistance, third-party payer requirements, medical terminology, and billing regulations.

• Oversee billing operations, reimbursement, accounts receivable, and regulatory compliance.

Ely-Bloomenson Community Hospital (EBCH) is seeking an experienced healthcare billing professional to lead our Business Office operations. This full-time, Monday–Friday management position offers the flexibility of working remotely anywhere within Minnesota while providing leadership that supports our hospital's financial health and commitment to exceptional patient service.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Lead, coach, and develop Business Office team members.
• Oversee billing operations, reimbursement, accounts receivable, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance, analyze key metrics, and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with clinical, financial, and operational leaders to improve workflows and resolve complex billing issues.
• Support departmental technology systems, organizational initiatives, and revenue cycle operations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Associate degree in finance or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience as determined by EBCH.
• 3–5 years of Critical Access Hospital billing experience.
• 2–4 years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in healthcare billing.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medical Assistance, third-party payer requirements, medical terminology, and billing regulations.
