Job summary

Quadax is seeking a Billing Supervisor to coordinate department activities, supervise staff, and drive process improvements. You will oversee performance reviews, coaching, and development while ensuring billing targets are met.

Initial training occurs in Milan, OH or Middleburg Heights, OH, with a transition to a hybrid model of three days in office and two remote each week. The role may be remote or hybrid at management discretion, with occasional in-person meetings.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of staff management in a business setting.
• Experience with software and systems.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse groups of people.
• Ability to attract, develop, coach, and retain high-performance teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise department work assignments and staffing levels.
• Monitor work lists to verify timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct staff meetings for onshore and offshore team members.
• Participate in client meetings on process flows and billing.
• Conduct monthly quality audits for domestic and offshore staff.
• Measure productivity against established targets.
• Coach staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Review timesheets and overtime.
• Resolve unusual billing issues with insurance companies.
• Coordinate process improvement initiatives based on analysis results.
• Communicate SOP updates to the management team.
• Develop staff in resolving complex billing questions.
• Conduct employee performance reviews.
• Achieve department objectives and metrics.
• Serve on committees as department representative.
• Assist in planning tasks and resources to meet strategic goals.
• This position is remote or hybrid at management discretion.
• Represent the department in the absence of the Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
