Platinum Home Health Services in Ohio is seeking an experienced Billing Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the billing department. The role requires leadership, accuracy, and in-depth knowledge of home health billing, Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer processes.

You will drive timely submissions, oversee audits, mentor staff, and collaborate with clinical and intake teams to resolve coding and documentation issues, helping ensure compliant, efficient reimbursement.

Formación

• Experience in home health billing is preferred.
• Supervisory or lead billing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer billing.
• Familiarity with PDGM preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with EMR and billing software systems.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and support the billing team to ensure accurate and timely claim submission.
• Oversee Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing processes.
• Review claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to submission.
• Monitor billing workflows, productivity, and key performance metrics.
• Resolve billing issues, denials, and payer rejections in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Medicare home health regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and intake teams to resolve documentation or coding discrepancies.
• Assist with audits, billing reports, and process improvement initiatives.
• Train, coach, and mentor billing staff on policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
