DataSnipper is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Billing & Monetization Team in New York City. You will lead the team responsible for metering, pricing, and revenue systems that power AI usage across our products, while guiding architecture and strategic direction.

In a fast-moving scale-up, you will mentor engineers, drive outcomes, and partner with Product and Finance to shape pricing and packaging. The role offers hybrid work with onsite collaboration in NYC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading engineering teams, driving performance, growth, and mentorship.
• 5+ years as software engineer building scalable, reliable systems.
• Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted coding tools and agentic coding harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team through outcomes with clear goals.
• Improve engineering quality and mentoring.
• Design and scale metering, billing, and monetization systems.
• Own architecture of the billing and monetization platform.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, and other teams on pricing and packaging.
