Job summary

DataSnipper in New York City is seeking a Software Engineer for our Billing & Monetization team. You will design, build, and operate credit, metering, and billing systems powering monetization for agentic AI products.

You will write high-quality Python in production, model data in Postgres and MongoDB, and deploy services across Azure and GCP with strong emphasis on reliability, observability, and cost control.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience in production.
• Proficient in Python and API design.
• Experience with Postgres and MongoDB data modeling and performance.
• Experience building services on Azure and/or GCP.
• Familiar with AI-assisted coding and agentic tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate billing and metering systems.
• Write high-quality Python in production.
• Scale services for real-time usage, credit limits, and entitlements.
• Model data in Postgres and MongoDB.
• Ship and run services on Azure and GCP, with observability, security, and cost.
