Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk in Fairmont, WV to manage billing processes, prepare customer invoices, and transfer data between E2 and QuickBooks.

The ideal candidate has experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable, proficiency with QuickBooks and E2 software, and strong data-entry skills. This full-time weekday position offers a starting pay of $17 per hour and a predictable schedule finishing by 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Previous billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or accounting clerk experience preferred.
• Experience using third-party billing software.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Experience with E2 software is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Scan, review, and process bills accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and send customer invoices by email and mail.
• Transfer financial and billing information from E2 software into QuickBooks.
• Perform accurate billing and financial data entry.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records.
• Verify invoice information for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure invoices and billing documents are processed in a timely manner.
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounting support as needed.
• Research and resolve basic billing discrepancies.
• Meet billing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
