Jobtailor is seeking a detail‑oriented Billing & Revenue Analyst to join our logistics team. You will review shipment files, reconcile costs, and ensure invoices align with vendor and customer agreements, collaborating across Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, Excel proficiency, and experience with ERP/TMS platforms to improve revenue capture, profitability, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years in freight forwarding, logistics, or related operational finance.
• Experience with customer billing, cost reconciliation, invoicing, or financial analysis is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations (air/ocean) and related services.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/TMS/financial systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review shipment files to ensure billable charges, vendor costs, and customer invoices are complete and accurate.
• Validate costs, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve issues with Operations, Finance, vendors, and customers.
• Monitor shipment profitability and identify opportunities to improve revenue capture and gross profit.
• Investigate low-margin shipments and assist with corrective actions.
• Support month-end close with shipment-level cost validation, accruals, and reconciliation.
• Review invoices and customer billings for compliance with pricing and procedures.
• Reduce billing disputes and revenue leakage through proactive file reviews.
• Prepare reports on revenue, billing accuracy, profitability, and performance for leadership.
• Analyze trends to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with internal controls and billing standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams to resolve issues and support process improvements.
• Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
