Job summary

KSDT in Miami, FL seeks a Manager of Firm Operations to standardize processes, systems and reporting across the firm. The role partners with leadership to drive efficiency, leverage AI and automation, and scale operations as the firm grows.

You will own core workflows from client lifecycle to tax production, administer practice management and billing platforms, and deliver weekly performance dashboards. The position blends hands-on project work with strategic process design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, information systems or related field.
• 5+ years in operations, practice management, finance or analytics in a CPA or professional services firm.
• Experience mapping, documenting and standardizing workflows, owning recurring processes end to end.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and dashboard-building across data sources.
• Strong comfort with AI tools to work faster and smarter.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to articulate changes and implications.
• Experience administering practice management, engagement letter, billing or client portal systems; CCH Axcess familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own core operating workflows end to end across client lifecycle, onboarding/offboarding, and tax busy-season production.
• Identify bottlenecks, recurring errors and operational risks; design fixes and drive adoption.
• Standardize procedures, forms and templates; maintain SOPs and train staff.
• Implement better workflow designs and automation to remove manual steps.
• Administer core systems and serve as SME on usage.
• Produce weekly/monthly performance dashboards and KPIs; provide visibility into work in process and budgets.
• Lead special operational projects and coordinate integration of new teams/offices.
