Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Product Manager in the Internal Products and Technologies organization to own the billing experiences for Claude, from purchase to monthly invoice, partnering with Engineering, Design, Growth, Trust & Safety, Support and Finance.

You will define how charges are explained, changes to plans are handled, and spend controls for admins, spanning individuals, teams, developers, and enterprise admins, to deliver clear, secure, scalable billing flows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience including self-serve purchase, subscription, or billing experiences.
• Shipped self-serve experiences with ownership of conversion and retention metrics.
• Strong product design instincts to simplify complex concepts like proration, overage, or credits.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand customers across segments and where billing friction costs conversion, trust, or support.
• Partner with Growth on purchase, upgrade, and plan-change flows to balance conversion and long-term trust.
• Partner with Trust & Safety to stop abuse without adding friction for legitimate customers.
• Design agentic billing experiences with a confirmation step for costly actions.
• Partner with Engineering and Design so Claude products offer clear ways to buy, upgrade, and manage spend.
• Drive product strategy and roadmap, synthesize stakeholder needs, and communicate prioritization to senior leadership.
