Job summary

Berkley Technology Services in Urbandale, IA is seeking a Product Management Intern to learn building software products loved by customers. You will be embedded in a product team, write product requirements, and collaborate with frontend and backend developers to enhance features.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• College Status: You must be currently enrolled in a degree program related to the field — or have recently graduated with a relevant degree.
• Typically expected to have completed at least 2 years of college coursework, especially for co-op roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Writing Product Requirements. Create tickets for frontend and backend features. Collaborate with developers to enhance product features and ongoing processes.
• Testing Product Features. Validate items in progress to ensure quality and user impact.
• Delivering Results. You will learn how to curate the best ideas, hypothesize their value, and implement the most promising of them.
• Focusing on the Data. We will define OKRs and review indicators for actionable insights and stakeholder presentations.
• Understanding Our Customers. You will expose yourself to customer feedback to anticipate needs and improve experiences.
• Challenging Status Quo. Work across Business, Operations, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to reimagine processes.

Responsibilities

As a Product Management Intern, you will work with one of our Product Managers learning how to build successful software products that customers love. We will provide you with training, instruction and feedback to enable you to excel in your role. The internship or co-op program provides highly motivated and qualified students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive valuable on-the-job training, and deepen their understanding of business and technology in a real-world setting. Participants are fully embedded within their assigned teams, where they contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with professionals across departments, and develop practical skills aligned with their academic background and career interests. This experience is designed to bridge classroom learning with professional application, offering exposure to industry tools, technologies, and leadership engagement.

• Focusing on the Data. We will assign you Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that define your goals and quantify the results we aim to achieve. We will ask you to regularly review your indicators for actionable insights and to present your findings to stakeholders during OKR Reviews.
• Understanding Our Customers. We will ask you to routinely expose yourself to customer feedback. You will use this
• exposure to anticipate customer needs and constantly improve their experiences.
• Challenging Status Quo. For various processes, we will expect you to understand what we do and why we do it. Then we will ask you to work across Business, Operations, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to reimagine how.

Qualifications

Education Requirement:
