Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Data Entry Clerk - Billing I to perform rapid, accurate entry of billing data and manage patient records in our secure systems. The shift runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Eastern in Florida, with emphasis on data integrity and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires 2+ years of high-volume data entry experience (preferably in healthcare) and a high school diploma or GED. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma / GED (or higher).
• Experience: 2+ years of recent work experience in high-volume data entry (preferably in the medical field).

Responsibilities

• Data Entry & Processing: Execute high-speed data entry to complete patient accessions, input demographics, and maintain exact transaction logs.
• System Competency: Navigate primary medical billing databases and internal tracking software efficiently.
• Compliance & Monitoring: Maintain strict compliance and HIPAA regulations at all times. Report data entry errors, processing mistakes, and Protected Health Information (PHI) breaches directly to management.
