Giving Home Health Care, LLC in Farmington, NM is seeking a full-time Billing Coordinator to join our Billing Department. This role focuses on preparing medical notes and coordinating with Case Managers, Home Health Aides and Nurses, using Excel with high accuracy to ensure seamless billing and approvals.

You will work independently and with a team, maintain payroll deadlines, resolve issues promptly, and support a mission-driven care team dedicated to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, especially Excel, MS Word, Teams, and Outlook.
• Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Acute memory with strong analytical ability.
• Passionate about meaningful impact for patients and families.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks and stay seated at a computer for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Contact Home Health Aides and Nurses to retrieve missing notes and request corrections to charting.
• Use medical management software, PDF editing software, spreadsheets, email, and other basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Process and review medical and caregiver notes for accuracy.
• Keep payroll deadlines by ensuring contractors are paid accurately, in collaboration with the Billing Specialist.
• Troubleshoot problems in a timely manner.
