Ideal candidates have a medical billing or coding certification, familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS, experience with EMR systems (Axxess preferred), and strong attention to detail.

Qualifikationen

• Medical billing or medical coding certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and medical billing processes.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work one Saturday per month as part of a rotating schedule.

Aufgaben

• Intake & referral coordination including gathering and verifying patient demographics and insurance information.
• Billing & insurance support including NOAs, ADRs, and ensuring documentation supports billing and compliance.
• General administrative responsibilities including HIPAA compliance and recordkeeping.
• Coordinate with patients, clinicians, physician offices, facilities, and referral sources.
