Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking a Billing Specialist to support multiple departments with invoicing, payments, and client communications in a fast-paced environment. You will help maintain client files and respond to billing inquiries, coordinating with Accounting and other teams to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a team, with a base salary range described below.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent.
• More than 2 years related billing experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Gains exposure to clients and carrier contacts; attends meetings and calls.
• Assists wide range of other departments within NFP – Accounting, Account Managers, Risk Placement Specialists and Processing.
• Performs invoicing, applying payments, verifying Finance Loans are accurate prior to submitting and servicing billing correspondence from the client or co-workers.
• Creates and maintains client files in the Agency Mgmt. System in accordance with office procedures.
• Assists with billing questions from clients and insurance company personnel with assistance from Accounting Dept.
• Emailing and/or mailing documents to clients or insurance company personnel.
