Job Opening: Billing Clerk at Crown Automotive Group
Crown Automotive Group is hiring a Billing Clerk for their Corporate Accounting Department.
This position is responsible for processing new and used car deals for compliance posting and funding, managing trade paperwork, and maintaining the contract in transit schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare invoices detailing items sold, services provided, amounts due, and credit terms.
- Post and verify payoff checks.
- Record journal entries.
- Prepare contracts for bank submission.
- Coordinate funding calls.
- Reconcile schedules.
- Complete trade paperwork.
- Edit paperwork for policy compliance and post car deals.
- Post transactions to accounting records and compile reports.
- Maintain professional appearance and work area.
- Maintain accurate logs of retail sale information.
- Edit incoming deal paperwork for compliance with company, state, and federal policies.
- Prepare and send contract packages to lenders.
- Post retail deals and allocate funds across accounts.
- Write payoff checks and follow up on titles or lien releases.
- Communicate professionally to resolve errors or issues.
- File and scan completed deals and paperwork, maintaining proper records.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 6 months of general office experience; automotive experience is a plus.
- Basic 10-key skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to follow instructions and solve problems.
- Data entry experience is helpful.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Valid FL Driver’s License and eligibility to work in the US.
