Kelly Services is currently partnering with a large distributor in Charleston, WV, seeking a Billing Clerk to join the team.

Role: Billing Clerk
Duration: Contract to hire
Pay: $17.50 hourly
Location: Charleston, WV

Job details

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare weekly and monthly summary invoicing for customers.
  2. Download, customize, and mail summary recaps and invoices to customers.
  3. Work with and invoice through customer online Accounts Payable websites.
  4. Provide customers with required attachments such as mill test reports, delivery receipts, freight bills, etc.
  5. Provide freight bill backup to customers and others as requested.
  6. Prepare various aging reports as needed.
  7. Analyze invoice error reports and correct failed transactions.
  8. Complete pro forma invoices for pre-bill and international customers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED with relevant work experience.
  • Strong Excel skills; attention to accuracy over speed.
  • Prior billing experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; ability to learn SIMS and other web-based applications.
Preferred knowledge:

Experience with Ariba, Open Invoice, Cortex, Coupa, Taulia, and/or iSupplier is helpful. Ability to establish good rapport with vendors, customers, and colleagues through written communication, phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills.
