Job Description

Introduction:

The ideal Billing Analyst is an administrator and accounting liaison to internal and external customers, supporting the department to maintain quality billing. Responsibilities include coordinating, maintaining, and recommending processes and tools, ensuring effective communication, training, and methodologies to ensure the success of client accounts. This position reports to the Billing Operations Manager.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate with various teams (Professional Services, Client Success, Account Managers, Customers, Revenue Operations, IT, Sales, Accounting, Finance) to optimize processes and ensure accurate, timely billing using software such as Workday, Salesforce Billing, ChargeBee, and proprietary systems.
• Serve as administrator and accounting liaison for internal and external customers, handling deductions, reimbursements, fees, research requests, and analysis.
• Support accounting reconciliations (ChargeBee, iSeries, Commerce).
• Process reports for month-end closure and facilitate financial operations.
• Work directly with the Discontinue team to facilitate billing and Accounts Receivable changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

What You'll Need:

• At least 2 years of billing experience in a high-volume, multi-platform environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially intermediate Excel skills.
• Attention to detail, organization, and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound decision-making and risk assessment skills.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions).
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Workday ERP.
• Understanding of accounting system functionalities.
• Experience with payment processing or SaaS industries.
• Private equity background.
• Over 1 year of accounting experience.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with sound decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
