GTS Transportation is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our growing accounting team. You’ll review driver documentation, process accurate and timely invoices, and make sure customers are billed correctly under their contracted rates.

The ideal candidate has freight transportation billing experience and strong problem-solving skills. They can also handle a high volume of documents accurately in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum 2 years of billing experience in freight transportation.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, follow-up, and customer service skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to process large volumes of documentation accurately.
• Ability to organize and maintain physical documents and files accurately.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data review and analysis.
• Detail-oriented and inquisitive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and review billing documentation submitted by drivers.
• Check billing documents and data for accuracy and completeness, and get missing or corrected information when needed.
• Review, evaluate, and process invoices in a timely manner.
• Review client contracts to make sure correct rates are charged.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
• Work with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare billing and expense accruals for accounting at month-end close.
• Keep company and customer information strictly confidential.
• Other duties as assigned, which may include helping with special projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and review billing documentation submitted by drivers

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
• Experience with a transportation management system (TMS) or freight billing software
• Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Knowledge of a second language
