Job summary

Doctors of Physical Therapy in Plainfield, IL is seeking a full-time Billing Claims Specialist to join our growing rehabilitation team. You will manage patient claims, answer billing calls, and support cross-training across billing functions.

We offer an on-site schedule with standard hours and benefits including HSA, PTO, vacation, 401K, life and disability plans. A strong work ethic, communication, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing or medical claims is preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities are required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Patient claims management, correction, submission and follow up.
• Billing calls to clinics, patients, and therapists.
• Cross training in all departments in billing.
• Support special projects assigned by Billing Supervisor/Manager.

Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Billing Claims Specialist. Doctors of Physical Therapy is a growing rehabilitation company founded in 2005. Our billing team is vital to the success of our company. For this important role, we are looking for a reliable and professional team member with employment goals for a career, not just a job!

Experience and Skills:

• A strong work ethic and reliability are a must.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills required
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word.
• Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
• Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
• Must be enthusiastic, must be able to multi-task and proactively problem solve.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5pm
