Job summary

Atrium is seeking a Billing Account Manager to oversee billing and accounts receivable while providing administrative support to attorneys. This role focuses on accurate invoicing, proactive collections, client account management, and administrative coordination.

The position requires 3–5 years of billing experience in a professional services environment, proficiency with electronic billing systems and Excel, and a bachelor's degree in a related field. Atlanta-based role with on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of billing and collections experience in a law firm or professional services.
• Experience with electronic billing and timekeeping/accounting software (Fulcrum or Aderant).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full billing cycle, including prebill reviews, invoice approvals, electronic submissions, and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate client records, billing rates, and account information.
• Monitor accounts receivable and coordinate collection efforts with attorneys.
• Respond to client billing inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare account statements, aging reports, and AR spreadsheets.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys (docs, calendar, meetings, filing).
• Assist with client intake, matter opening/closing, and records retention.
