Job summary

Ear Bar in Chicago seeks a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist/Office Manager to oversee daily operations of a new ENT specialty practice. The role combines billing responsibility with office leadership to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

You will manage the entire billing process, submit claims, coordinate with insurers and patients, supervise staff, and implement EHR systems like Practice Fusion and Tebra.

Qualifications

• Experience as Medical Billing Specialist and Office Manager in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD coding and ICD-10.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Practice Fusion, Kareo/Tebra).
• Ability to ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate billing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the medical office in a compliant manner.
• Manage budgeting and financial processes to optimize resources.
• Coordinate with providers for utilization management and patient care.
• Submit and follow up on medical billing claims with insurers and government payers.
• Lead staff; manage training, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Implement and manage EHR systems (Practice Fusion, Tebra).
• Communicate with insurers, providers, and patients to resolve discrepancies.
